    Hi @t-p thanks for your help to date on this – I’m wondering if you are able to see the full suite of options you mentioned above:

    – “Spotlight mode”
    – “Fullscreen mode”
    – “distraction free”

    …in the ‘Site editor’, assuming you were referring to the ‘Page editor’ above?

    So t-p, I guess the next thing I’m going to ask is – are you seeing all the toggle options in the ‘site editor’ or only in the ‘page editor’?

    Ok, I’m taking some of that back 🙂

    Not sure if it changed anything, but I hunted down some caching in the hosting and turned it off – but…

    If I chose ‘Site editor’ only the two toggles are present (on the Home page, only ‘Site editor’ is available for some reason and I was mainly checking that after adjustments), on other pages where the ‘edit page’ option is also available and I choose that, the full suite of options are showing.

    Update: If I create a new post or page the full suite of toggles *are present* in Options: Top toolbar, Spotlight mode, Fullscreen mode, Distraction free.

    But on existing pages, only Top toolbar and Spotlight mode are showing.

    That’s on Twenty Twenty-Three, no plugins active, no errors showing, Site Health seems fine. Install is pretty fresh, just default theme content.

    So you’re saying it should be there?

    Also wonder if ‘Fullscreen mode’ is now called ‘Distraction Free Mode’ as seen here https://wordpress.org/documentation/wordpress-version/version-6-2/#focus-on-writing-with-distraction-free-mode unfortunately, that page doesn’t seem to link to anywhere esp useful in terms of an in-depth user guide for the updated block editor – which addresses each of the headings on that page.

    Which seems really odd, so perhaps I’m missing something.

    Already using a default theme. Deactivated all plugins, still not there.

    Hi Mirko

    I’ve got 90% of the way to a clean install by using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to disable things and switched to Storefront directly rather than the child theme.

    So only 3 plugins active but still no luck.

    Just to check I’m looking in the right place for the order notes, would you be able to share a screenshot of the customer note in context on the order admin page?

    The one Nadir sent was cropped to only show the actual note.

    Thanks for the reply Lap!

    Yeah, that was one of the first things I tried – unfortunately afaics the checkout on WC Blocks doesn’t allow a code block in the main area of the checkout where the checkbox wants to go – only paragraph, image or separator blocks :/

    Development is pretty active on the WC Blocks plugin so maybe they will in the future, but I’m guessing they prefer other integrations approaches.

    No, we’re not using WooCommerce Custom Orders Tables.

    Probably only relevant plugins we’re running are:
    Extra Product Sorting Options for WooCommerce
    WooCommerce Stripe Gateway
    Sequential Order Numbers for WooCommerce
    WooCommerce Weight Based Shipping

    ..but no luck even with those disabled.

    It is a child theme though, so maybe next thing is to check there’s nothing in the theme that might be interfering.

    Thanks Nadir – not having any luck with that so far. Have disabled plugins etc and am using storefront already, so bit of a mystery.

    Will do some tests on a clean install and let you know how it goes.
