In reply to: [SEOS Restaurant] Theme issue when running WordPress 5.1.1It’s okay, I’ve resolved it. I had been hacked and someone/thing had inserted malware on the theme’s functions.php
Once I had cleaned it up everything went back to normal.
Again not sure that I got the right place, but here goes:

In reply to: Plugins Menu on dashboard redirectsSome more info:
Site is: http://www.darjeelingindianrestaurant.co.uk
When I hover over link, it comes up to advise me that it wants to go to http://www.darjeelingindianrestaurant.co.uk/wp-admin/plugins.php but then it redirects to a pharma site.

In reply to: Permalinks on moved installationYes that is exactly what I did.
my website is http://www.frampton.website
This the code in my index.php in my root
( dirname( __FILE__ ) . '/wordpress/wordpress/wp-blog-header.php' )
I currently have permalinks turned off. If you visit my site it works fine, except that permalinks are not on and the address appears in the menu bar as wordpress/worpdress. If I turn permalinks on, then typing frampton.website redirects it to frampton.website/wordpress/wordpress and it returns a 404 Page not found error, but then all the menu links etc work (including the Homepage link),

In reply to: Two Blogs, One DomainI have run into problems in the past where I have a root install of WP and then a further install in a subdirectory.
However where both are in separate subdirectories, I have had no problems. So for example I have a subdirectory on my site called “demo” and in that I have individual directories for each of my wordpress theme designs with a WP install in each, each running from the same database but using separate tables.
