 * URL of the old website is maritimecyprus.wordpress.com
 * Thank you

 * Hello,
 * I created my new blog using wordpress.org. I changed nameservers and everything
   is tunning on the new self-hosted server. I installed the Jetpack plugin and
   logged in with my WordPress.com account. I can see both old and new websites
   in my wordpress.com dashboard. I started the subscriber migration process from
   old website to the new on Sunday 10 PM. Its been more than a day now and I can
   see the subscribers migrated to the new website. Do I have to wait longer? Also
   I read in the threads that if I want the stats to be migrated as well I need
   to ask you for that? Is that possible?
 * Finally if I go to do the subscriber migration again to the new website I can
   see and select the old site anymore?
 * Thanks for your help

 * Hello,
 * Thanks for your reply. A couple more questions if you dont mind answering
 * – About the Subscription Form Widget. Is there a way to know if somebody already
   subscribed to the blog? Ideally we want to hide the widget if someone already
   subscribed.
 * – Is there any way to change the email that is sent out to our subscribers?
 * – Is there a way to automatically add email addresses to our subscriber list?
 * Thanks again

 * Ok thats is great news.
 * I didn’t know that Jetpack would continue to send email notifications. Sorry
   I need to get this straight so I can communicate it with my client.
 * 1. Email subscribers will continue to receive emails just like they do now? We
   wont have to create a newsletter or anything like that? Is there a cost for this
   service?
    2. What about new subscribers that we get on our website. How do we
   add them to the Jetpack email subscriber list? 3. What about users that register
   as subscriber users of the new website like with username and password? Can we
   add those as well?
 * Thanks again

 * Hello from here as well,
 * You already helping me on another thread. I read the quide one more time and
   I have a couple more questions
 * 1. Towards the end of the article it says “Keep in mind that while your email
   subscribers will continue to receive email notifications”. The way I understand
   it is that we will be responsible to sent emails notifications to email subscribers
   from now on WordPress.com or Jetpack wont do it for us. . Is that correct?
 * 2. As far as the WordPress.com followers are concerned. As what are they migrated
   on the new site? Are they stored in the database in the wp_users table – with
   subscriber type? Or they are basically connected with the Jetpack account and
   through that they are informed about new posts on the new website?
 * Thanks again for your time

 * Hello James.
 * Thanks for your reply. So what is your advice?
 * Should I install Jetpack and migrate subscribers before or after I change my
   domain nameservers to the new self hosted server?
 * Sorry for the detailed question but I am doing this for the first time and my
   client has many followers and subscribers and I want to make everything correct
   without any suprises.
 * Thanks again

 * Hello,
 * I have a question that is somewhat relevant here. I am transferring a wordpress.
   com website to self hosted. I have connected the Jetpack in the new site. The
   domain name is going to be the same namely maritimecyprus.com. At the moment
   the new server temp domain is 919674101.linuxzone126.grserver.gr. My question
   is whether to change the temp domain to the actual final domain and whether by
   doing that I will have any issues during the migration of my subscribers and
   stats using Jetpack. Is it better to do the migration first and them change the
   domain name. Any help would be much appreciated?
