In answer to the questions in your email, no, I have not changed anything about the plugin – not sure I would know how. My theme has been active and working fine for a couple of months and I decided to try the Related Posts plugin. Initially I couldn’t figure out how it worked – it took a while to realize I had to switch out of Visual Composer to even see the interface. * In the meantime, I had installed the JetPack set of plug ins which also has a similar plugin. Your product noticed that I had it installed. Long story short, there was a conflict and so I deactivated both plugins and gave up. That’s when I noticed that even after deletion/deactivation, the blog summary had disappeared altogether and could not be shown. I tried reinstalling your plugin for this latest post, found some related posts and connected them to my post as per instructions. When I went to the index page, all I see is the related posts. * From my experience with the first post, removing the related articles does not restore my blog summary. It just leaves the whole thing blank, except for the title. Rather than try to describe what happened, maybe I should describe what I want to do. I simply want to load a .pdf document to my site and know what its URL will be so I can link to it and visitors can view it.
