However, I have a question– does commenting have any impact here? If commenting on posts is enabled/disabled, does this have any effect on the product reviews? Yes, I cannot remove maintenance mode since any customer placing orders now, will lose the data as soon as the database snapshot rollback is complete. * I have disabled Woo and WP automatic updates on purpose since the beginning of this web shop, but somehow WP was pushed through. No other updates to the theme or plugins were made before we faced this issue. Only wordpress was somehow updated and unfortunately there’s no safe and straight forward way to rollback WP.
