I put the name of the host server thus:
Hostname: webserver.mydomain.com:11111
Username: myusername
Password: **************
Connection Type: [X] FTPS (SSL)
With no change.
I played with core control. It says the SSH2 transport is not available.
Argh! I could have sworn that I tried that at least twice, but nevertheless, that’s my problem and more importantly, it’s working. THANK YOU.
I will dutifully print out and re-read the “Pages” link in the codex again because I must have misunderstood something.
