 * Thanks guys, I guess I’m below the level of everyone here. I have seen these 
   instructions many times but don’t know what the wp-content directory is or how
   to find it.

    you need to make the folder uploads writable. all the folders in uploads
   needs to writable as well. Okay, great. Um, how would I do that?
