 * It isn’t related to the general SSL/TLS configuration of the server, or certificate.
 * Sometimes, bizarrely, NextGen chooses HTTP instead of HTTPS .. For instance, 
   the below. I haven’t nailed down why this is happening sporadically, it seems
   odd, but am about to patch the gallery.php to replace HTTP with HTTPS.

 * This is a problem I’ve seen with many WordPress plugins; the devs just don’t 
   consider the possibility of large data sets. That sort of hammering is particularly
   an issue on cloud servers.
 * Of course, it doesn’t help that WordPress uses such a sub-optimal database schema–
   by design, to be as generic and robust as possible.

 * Same. Also removed easing from the theme, but random, easily missed javascript/
   query breakages are not cool. Disqus should be on top of this.

 * VaultPress I suppose is the official name of the premium offering I am talking
   about that does both backup and security scan. It does come with core WordPress
   paid offering, so should be quite common. Thus, I would expect to hear of others
   seeing this, but who knows.
