If you set the excerpt for the posts in the blog page from Customize -> Layout -> Blog/Archive -> Excerpt Length it will be kept also for the search.Hope that helps!

Unfortunately, there is no automatically way to migrate between themes, you have to do it manually..The themes are different so are the options and it’s not gonna work.
Neve theme has a Shop starter site made according to the theme. You can check the demo here: https://themeisle.com/demo/?theme=Shop

In order to change site icon on Neve theme you have to go to Appearance -> Customize -> Header and click Change logo. See screenshot.

No, that shouldn’t happen.
This issue might be occurring due to a plugin conflict. So please deactivate all plugins and check if it resolves your issue and after that try activating the plugins one by one to find problematic plugin. Then replace it with an alternate plugin.

After you configure the WooCommerce settings and add your products, make sure the Shop section from your Customizer -> Frontpage Sections is enabled and they should appear automatically on your Homepage.

I don’t think it’s a problem related to the theme. I checked it on my end and it works fine. Probably it’s something wrong with a JS function from the plugin, you can try to contact their support team.
