Make sure you do not have “User Role Management” turned off in The PoweerPress > Settings > advanced tab.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Login to Podcast App via a link?We do not (at this time) have that function. You might check with Memberpress as they are the ones doing the login/password thing.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Login to Podcast App via a link?PowerPress can work with membership plugins. In the case of Memberpress, it does the verification and PowerPress creates the channel feed. It has to be a custom podcast channel.
Once you create the channel, you can edit the channel and in the “other” menu, turn on Password Protect Podcast Channel.
What is the RSS feed for your podcast?
I can take a look.

In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] How to add LINK tag to HEAD?In the PowerPress settings > Feeds menu, there is a checkbox for “Feed discovery”. Turn that on and save changes.
Clear any caching and it should be there.
We are aware and will have a new version of PowerPress out this week (Tuesday or Wednesday)
Ah yes, We need to update the docs.
That setting can be found in the Podcast Channels (you have to have a channel other than the default one) in the “other” menu when editing the channel.
The newest version should fix the issue.
We are aware of the issues. We are working on a hotfix. Expect a new version later today.
Can you give me the RSS feed address you are using? I can look into it.
The only way to do that would be to enable Custom Podcast Channels and add a second channel called “podcasts” as the slug.
Then, you would have to post in the custom channel box in the post and setup the feed in channels.
I would suggest not using a page slug of “podcast” but instead use “podcasts”. The word Podcast as a slug can conflict with the RSS feed which would be /feed/podcast/
BUT, if you set the Permalinks in the Website settings of PowerPress to Match feed…. instead of WordPress default and save changes, /podcast will work.
James,
You don’t need to remove the mirror feed, but there is a rediret of the /feed/podcast/ on your site to the bypass URL.
You want to put the feeds.podcastmirror.com…. address in the mirror feed URL box. Not the feed address from PowerPress.
Ok, I think part of the problem is you are redirecting your feed to have ?redirect=no on the end. I would remove that query string and see if the new episodes get to your feed.
James,
Did you add cloudflare recently? It seems Apple (and maybe others) do not like the cert on your feed. See: https://www.castfeedvalidator.com/validate.php?url=https://www.jamesmillerlifeology.com/feed/podcast/?redirect=no
