 * Ok, I am an idiot. I just realized that the html files I was referring to are
   probably “left-overs” from my old Blogger blog, that I migrated to WordPress.
 * SO, if that’s the case, then my problem of not seeing the files on my server
   is solved. BUT the problem of broken permalinks is still not solved.
 * sorry for being dumb.

 * thanks for replying.
 * I’m not exactly sure what you mean. I can’t browse–using my internet browser–
   to the permalinks. However, the posts appear in their normal way (albeit without
   comments, which seem to be dependent on the permalinks.)
 * I CAN however, “browse”–via FTP–to the actual .html files for the posts prior
   to 9/05. They each reside on my server. They are organized by year/month/post.

 * thanks!
