This can not be automated though and needs to happen by the buyer after the order is received By the seller u mean? If so thats not correct, u need to check your clients details before ordering actually.

Does the VIES soap not provide that? The VIES website itself does, so i expected the soap thing to do the same.

If that does not work now it will later as the check is a legal requirement, including the request code, u get that info by doing the request using your own tax id in the request. The transaction number returned should be stored as proof that u checked it

Its not the problem that people try to cheat, its the problem that we cant prove we checked in an ok matter.

I personally dont care who buys at my shop, but i need to prove that i checked. Geoip is nice, customer ticking a box is awesome but the VIES check is mandatory if they provide a tax id. But unfortunatly including the business details as else its useless.

That people could fake that… well as we did all checks that we could thats not our problem.

It is a legal requirement to check for business details also using the VIES system where an exception is only made for member states that do not provide that information.

This is not smth i dream up, its in our laws. Per example the Dutch tax agency states on their website that doing a VIES check is sufficient but has to include the business details. Only if they are not available can u skip it. I asume that this is true in all states, or they dont make the exception

The reasons are obvious and they are working to have all member states report on the business details.

what i meant:

i copied site a to site b
setup relations in settings

then go to site 1 and edit a page, at the buttom choose translate

the plugin then creates a draft of the article on site 1 at site 2

but that content was already there in the language of site 1 so it names it different and menu´s point to wrong page

what happend

i copied domain1 to domain2 and created relations
edit a page and choose to translate
reload
see the translation concept and edit that

problem:
as content is also copied there is a conflict in naming as the concept is new and the original page exists. I would expect the plugin to understand or compare pages and posts to set relations itself

now menu´s dont work and we have a lot of extra content we wont use

so we will have to delete content and rewrite manu`s

how do u deal with that? as for now i dont really see why this is handy

i mean creating a copy can be done by other plugins and if u have to edit all content en menu´s ayway, what does the plugin solve except the ability to see that there is a concept on domain2?
