 * I have a feeling it’s this plugin that’s interacting badly with yours: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/)
 * We cannot turn this off because it’s how we’re managing our guest authors right
   now. I was planning on moving them all over to your plugin. I’d be curious to
   know if the others above also have this plugin installed.
 * I have the most current version of your plugin. Everything on our site is fully
   up to date. We are running the Opinion WordPress theme.

 * We are having the same issue. When I bulk changed the category for a bunch of
   posts, it changed me to the author for all of them. We’re convinced it is this
   plugin causing the problem.
 * We’re wondering if it’s interacting badly with the Guest Author plugin we already
   had or former authors that are now “subscribers” due to us wanting to limit their
   access.
 * It’s definitely caused us significant issues before we realized it was happening.
   Has anyone figured out a fix yet? We would love to be able to keep using this
   plugin.
