I stepped away for a bit for lunch, game back and hit refresh on the post page and no longer sees me as logged in. I’ll leave everything enabled and see if any complaints from the commenters. Thanks for your assistance! A bit beyond me – will that comment_author code change in the future? That is, is it tied to the specific version of wordpress installed? Is it linked to the theme? I actually stumbled on post-notify-users over coffee this morning, will be testing with just admins later. Also think I have found another plugin to handle the subscriber side of things, was able to verify it drops them directly into wp user db and not something else.
