 * I don’t have it on my website. Temporarly I managed the problem by turning on
   troubleshoot mode, then I activate News plugin and all options are there. But
   only in troubleshoot mode, otherwise no change…

 * I have very similar problem to yours. What if
 * > – Try deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves
   > the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them
   > individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).

 *  those solution won’t solve that kind of problem? In my site I have “feautred
   image” option missing in WP News plugin and in most cases editor options, same
   as [@thea](https://wordpress.org/support/users/thea/).
