 * Thank you, that solved it! I am forever in your debt. Marking this one resolved!

 * I am going to read up on it and use a child theme next time. Since this is my
   personal site, I’m not worried about CSS being changed
 * Hm, it’s not that gap I’m worried about–it’s the one that is pushing the main
   content down so that it doesn’t line up on the top with the secondary nav. With
   the home page, for example, the top of the graphic is lower than the top of the
   nav. Is it showing up that way for you?

 * Yes, I used custom CSS. There are some minor things I changed in the theme files,
   but I did backups of them first. I just didn’t get how to properly do a child
   theme, even after reading the instructions!
 * If you pull up any of the pages (for example: [the pricing page](http://www.jayneshives.com/photatoes/blog/?page_id=268)),
   you will see only a gap above the content of the page–that’s where the breadcrumbs
   were. Now they’re gone, but this wacky space remains.

 * Ah, sorry, site: [http://www.jayneshives.com/photatoes/blog](http://www.jayneshives.com/photatoes/blog)
 * I mention editing the PHP because another, similar poster on here received that
   advice. I got rid of the breadcrumbs but I don’t want the gap to appear on each
   page.
 * Thanks!
