 * I’m having the same problem. I want to turn off the cropping feature… Retina 
   and cropping quality considerations, however adding the mentioned disable cropping
   code doesn’t seem to work.
 * I get the correct uncropped images when I delete the smart cropped ones manually
   and reload, but upon reloading the page again the crop is applied and the newly
   generated images are used… Any more to using the filter than adding it to functions.
