 * Hi, First I will love this theme it is very well done!
 * I am a newbie and tried the steps described above but was unsuccessful. What 
   I did was simply go into the style.css and changed this change:
 *  #top-call-to-action {
    background: black; }
 * Or do you have a tutorial on how I could add this Child theme?

 * Thank you for your reply, unfortunately I do not see it under Widgets. Ive created
   a sidebar, which is the only one that appears.
 * Also, changing the template is not an option at this point, the person I am doing
   this for loves it.
