Tweeting sometimes seems to break the padlock (although as the problem is intermittent, I’m not sure about that). The only thing that seems to work reliably (for a while) is removing the widget then re-adding it.
Yes, I do have WP Super Cache installed but I have tried deleting the cache to no effect.
I have done a search and replace on the whole site to remove any reference to http://
Any other ideas?

I usually test it from whynopadlock.com so I’m not confusing myself with cached pages or my own log in. I’ve just tested it again and it’s showing the rotating tweets images as not being https.

At the moment it is working in https. As I said, previously this has been fine for a day or so but then seems to go back to using http. It probably won’t now that you’re looking!
