 * Thank you, Jesper, for such a quick reply!
 * A few clarification questions I have: Before making the duplicator package, do
   I change the URL in WP’s general settings or do I do that at the time I am resaving
   my permalinks after the Duplicator rollout?
 * Just curious, did you “replace” your http website with the https version on the
   same domain and web host as I plan on doing? Did you blow away everything (as
   in the database and wordpress install) prior to installing the Duplicator files?
   Or did you overwrite the existing WP install? Not being very technical (but knowing
   enough to get myself in trouble), I apologize if I sound like a dimwit!
 * Also, I assume you are using the free version of Duplicator vs. the Pro?

 * Hi there,
 * I am getting ready to move a WordPress site that is http to https. I won’t be
   changing webhosts or domain names, just going to an https version. Bluehost is
   offering free SSLs for WordPress sites. From a workflow perspective, do I first
   do a Duplicator backup of the non-https live website, then get the SSL installed,
   then go through the Duplicator process to replace the existing installation?
   I am not a techie, so it’s hard to wrap my head around this…
 * Thanks in advance for any help!

 * Addendum: A clarification — the page I am using to display the events is the
   PBPA Events page and the shortcode used there is [eme_events].
 * I just re-saved that page, and now all events are showing. So the problem may
   have been solved…Stay tuned. The test will be when I add a new event.

 * I have been using this plugin for about 6 years (and keeping it updated). The
   directions said not to put anything in the events page as it will be ignored (
   so I have nothing in the events page): This is what appears in the backend when
   I click on the page “Events”:
    “This page is used by Events Made Easy. Don’t
   change it, don’t use it in your menu’s, don’t delete it. Just make sure the EME
   setting called ‘Events page’ points to this page. EME uses this page to render
   any and all events, locations, bookings, maps, … anything. If you do want to
   delete this page, create a new one EME can use and update the EME setting ‘Events
   page’ accordingly.”
 * I have not had this problem before.

 * Thanks for that info, but it didn’t help in my instance.
    Here are my settings:
   Media settings — thumbnail max size: 300px W x 300px H. Crop to exact size box
   unchecked.
 * Foo Gallery settings: 300px W x 200px H. Crop box unchecked or checked (makes
   no difference).
 * The size of the uploaded images from which the thumbs are being generated is
   600px x 400px.
 * Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance

 * Yes, there is definitely still an issue.
 * If you flip between these two pages, you will see that the native WP thumbs are
   much clearer than the foo gallery thumbs:
 * Native gallery: [http://www.prestigepandr.com/portfolio/](http://www.prestigepandr.com/portfolio/)
 * Foo gallery: [http://www.prestigepandr.com/test/](http://www.prestigepandr.com/test/)
 * The white house looks especially blurry….

 * Hi,
 * I am having the same problem: [http://www.prestigepandr.com/test/](http://www.prestigepandr.com/test/)
 * The thumbnails are quite blurry. I have your dev version of the plugin installed,
   as you recommended in one of the threads, and the thumbnail quality set to 100.
   I have cleared the thumbnail cache.
 * On the gallery edit page, I have the thumbnail size set to 300 wide x 200 high
   and the crop thumbnail to exact dimensions box unchecked. (It does not make any
   difference whether it is checked or not).
 * On another page ([http://www.prestigepandr.com/portfolio/](http://www.prestigepandr.com/portfolio/))
   I have used the native WordPress Gallery and the thumbs are much clearer…
 * Any ideas on how to improve the FooGallery thumb quality?
    Thanks in advance!

 * Sorry, I posted this topic too soon. I see that you can uncheck item #4 on the
   settings page — Add a `<br />` for line breaks? — and that fixes everything!

 * Thanks a million, Jeff.
    I can’t believe how quickly you respond! It’s incredible.
 * So, just to clarify, this would be an example of what I would put in the _Read
   More_ box of the Edit Testimonial page for testimonial 5 to have it link directly
   to that particular item on the Testimonials page?:
    `http://www.monumenthomespa.
   com/testimonials#hms_testimonial_5`
 * Again, many thanks…

 * Thanks for your prompt reply, Jeff!
 * I tried putting what you recommended above. That is, I put “http//monumenthomespa.
   com/testimonial#5” in the Read More box on the individual Edit Testimonial page
   for the testimonial whose ID is 5. However, after saving that, when I clicked
   on the READ MORE link in the sidebar widget displaying testimonial #5, it took
   me to the top of the list of testimonials on the Testimonials page. #5 is at
   the bottom of the page and below the fold.
 * Am I missing something? I want to retain the full list of testimonials on the
   Testimonials page but I want the Read More to connect to the beginning of its
   associated testimonial…
 * My client’s website is still under development so I can’t give you a live site
   to go to, but if need be, I can take off the Coming Soon Page briefly and expose
   the site at an agreed upon time…
 * Thanks again for your help!

 * I had the same problem, also, but was able to fix it as follows: on the dashboard,
   go to Appearance->Header. In the Custom Header window you can upload a custom
   header image to be used in place of the Twenty Ten images.
    I did just that and
   voila!, my preferred image is now showing on the blog page! Hope the same works
   for you.

 * Thanks for the info, Vtxyzzy!
 * Since I am not seasoned in this sort of thing, please verify my following statement
   or provide assistance (thank you very much!):
 * I can use my existing mySQL installation and thru phpmyAdmin create a new database
   table for the new site. Then modify the new wp-config.php file in the new xampp/
   htdocs folder to point to that db table.
 * I haven’t done this in awhile, so is there a specific line in the wp-config.php
   folder into which I need to put the new path?
 * Sorry for sounding like a dullard!
    And once again, thanks for the help…
