You are correct, I didn’t pay enough attention at the time and that pesty . caused the issues. I contacted the support team at Photocrati and they have resolved this issue for me. Yes, I can get to the admin and I can see the settings WordPress Address URL and Site Address URL and both have that extra . at the end Could you tell me if I should change both and remove the . I don’t know a lot about how it all works but I was concerned that each of the pages show this extra . now and if it affects google analytics etc. My web address doesn’t have the last. and so when people type it in, they get my site minus the gallery images. Looks bad. Yet with that . it all appears normal. I don’t know if I put it there by error or if the template I am using put it there but basically I just want people to be able to type in my web address and get the page including the images to load. All due respect, but to give you “an” idea why people try to do it is because we need to learn how to and sometimes hands on is the best way. I wish I had a few spare bucks to have been able to pay someone, but the sad truth is, I couldn’t afford it. I have to learn how to do these things and how to maintain it too. I used a plugin that says it back up everything = WordPress Backup to Dropbox automatically creates a backup of your entire website, including all files and its database, within Dropbox. I have a copy of all this on my PC as well as in Dropbox. Now I lack of knowledge will really show, but is phpMyAdmin a difficult thing to use? I can see it in a folder that is in XAMPPLite? When I go to my web server to create a database, where do I go to do this? I am very new to all of this and I really don’t know much. I made a back up of the site, I was sure it backing up everything including the database. Then I installed wordpress on hostgator and then I uploaded the entire backup to the photographicmemory.com.au folder which is inside the public html folder. And to be honest, was hoping for the best, but so far, not so. I could see that their was often two files of the same name except for a .dev after one copy of each.
