It seems, however, that even the comments sections and the blog’s own text are affected as well. Is there any way to correct all the posts that have been copied from Word (which is most of them) if that is the problem? * Also, any advice on what to use instead. I edited a link and it seems to work most of the time( if not a little sloppy) in IE. When I said that it is uploading ok I meant to my FTP… not to WP. Is that something that I can answer questions about–DreamHost is my host and they have given me some advice that doesn’t make much sense to me as I look at my own ftp folders. * They said that the FTP server should be my domain name, the Blog URL presumably is the exact location of my blog (so if it’s in a subfolder of my domain.com named blog it would be domain.com/blog) * However, I do not have a subfolder in which my WP blog exists. I have the placetomuse. com folder and inside of that there are the following folders: * WP-admin WP-content WP-images WP-includes * and a whole bunch of WP related files. * I am not sure what a ‘parked domain’ is or I would answer that question. My blogger posts upload to my ftp just fine, but not to my WP site. * Here is what my ftp directory looks like: * home logs Maildir placetomuse.com public_html WPbackup atom.xml * As far as I can tell, all of my WP files are in the placetomuse.com folder. Sorry. I had it set up right, so I think, but prior to fixing that line of code I was trying something that obviously didn’t work. I have made the correct changes back to what I think it should be: ftp path: placetomuse.com/wp-admin/ import-blogger.php/ and archive path: /placetomuse.com/wp-admin/. Does that seem better? * However, when I attempt to publish this error comes up: * 550 placetomuse.com/wp-admin/import-blogger.php/2005/10/new-leaf.html: Not a directoryplacetomuse.com/wp-admin/import-blogger.php/2005/10/new-leaf.html * I have double checked all of my other settings and they seem in order. I have my archive path set up for public_html/journal/. Is that right? I did change my ftp path to public_html but to no avail. Same results…only different place. I appreciate the help.
