 * Apparently it was Root Relative URLs and this is a somewhat known issue ([https://wordpress.org/support/topic/it-fixes-all-urls-so-it-break-external-ones/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/it-fixes-all-urls-so-it-break-external-ones/)).

 * Yep, that was it. [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-google-analytics-events/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-google-analytics-events/)
   was causing issues with multiple plugins on my site. I’m going to followup with
