As I have stated before, it’s not a matter of a “customization”, but a feature declared on your documentation which used to work and now is broken. It is a bug you shall fix.
It’s not that much of custom code, but adding a mail class according to documentation. Seems like a bug to me, it used to word, broke on some update of the last ~3 months

No, you didn’t understand me, I’m not trying to add custom code. The CSS and JS of the plugin itself is what isn’t being loaded if I use the custom theme, so the stories don’t look good or even work. You can check it on staging3.platerio.com.
If I change theme to Twenty Twenty One stories work well.
