In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Offset is not working for me..Hooray!! It works perfectly now! I had to tweak the numbers in the code a little but now it lines up correctly!
Thank you for pointing out the issue on mobile. I think I now have the tools and confidence to be able to handle working on it there.
Thank you so much for your consistent help and support and for designing this plugin it is a lifesaver!!

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Offset is not working for me..I moved the code under the wp_head function and it still wasn’t changing when I put in different numbers.
As a temporary solution, I have added blank rows above each of the sections I wanted to link and changed the hyperlink from the content of the sections to the blank row. It’ll work in the meantime, but should still allow us to keep looking and testing to get this adjusted properly.

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Offset is not working for me..I updated the code you sent and still no change. I think right now it is lining up underneath the hyperlinked text of the button correctly, but not the rest of the image around the hyperlinked text.
Again I have put in increasingly higher numbers in the code and they don’t change the position at all.
I have also emailed you a screenshot of my header.php as it may shed more light for you, since I don’t seem to be able to post them here in the forum.

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Offset is not working for me..Okay. I got the image buttons to be normal links. I made the text on them the linked item and not the image itself. This has made a great improvement but still doesn’t line up correctly.
I also added your code to the header.php file and tried increasing and decreasing the number of added pixels and it didn’t seem to affect it. It’s super close now though.
Any ideas?
Hello. Yes I was able to find a solution to my issue. What I ended up doing was custom CSS coding the ticker to be sticky just using:
position: fixed;
top: 100;
z-index: 1000;
width: 100%;This made it possible to function on each page without additional custom code and opened up the Sticky Menu & Sticky Header plugin to be used elsewhere on the site as needed.
Thank you again for your speedy support and suggestions!

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Offset is not working for me..So my client looked at the site and wanted a different type of sub-menu and also wanted to stick the ticker to the header. The menu in question is now made up of siteOrigin Hero Widgets linked to the corresponding sections below and is sticking via the Sticky Menu & Sticky Header Plugin. The ticker is being pinned via simple custom CSS code.
Ultimately, and unfortunately, my issue remains the same however the variables have changed.
Any chance you can take another look and see what you can suggest?
Thank you again in advance!
Hello again. I am commenting again to hopefully ping you again for assistance getting the ticker to work on other pages. It works perfectly on the home page now, but on other pages I copy and paste it to it continues to resize incorrectly. Any additional assistance you can provide would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
The new page in question can be found at this link. https://kikconsulting.com/non-invasive-data-governance/
As I had mentioned in my first post, I was hoping to add this ticker to all the pages of the site. I just copy and pasted the row to a new page and it is acting the same way it acted before your custom code.
Any ideas or you mentioned potentially putting the ticker in the header? Either option would be great! Thank you!
Oh my goodness that works!!
Thank you so much!
Hello,
Okay. It does keep ticking when not in Legacy Mode, it just doesn’t fill up the whole width of the page. I’m working currently with the Ditty News Ticker Support so maybe they can help find a full solution. If so I will post back here with that information.
Thanks!
Absolutely!
The Sticky Menu & Header Plugin has been reset to its original settings.
Thank you and I look forward to your suggestions!!

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Offset is not working for me..Hello,
I tried enabling “Prevent other scripts from handling plugin’s links” and it’s still the same. I can share the URL but is there a way to do it privately?
I have been able to put in just a number for the offset and it gets it significantly closer, but it would be so much easier if we can get it to work based on the menu.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Ditty – Responsive News Tickers, Sliders, and Lists] Adding Ticker to HeaderThat ticker is not attached to the header and is currently our temporary solution. The header is set as a sticky header and the ticker does not stay with the header. We want it to be a part of the header so it shows up the same way on each page and the ticker can be seen at all times. If you look at the “Events” page currently there is no ticker.
Hopefully, this helps clarify our question.
Thank you for your response and I look forward to your next one.
