 * Okay, I’m going to reply _again_, but only to say that I fixed the problem with
the broken AJAX in my dashboard. All I did was to re-copy all of the files and
folders from the wp-includes folder on my machine to the wp-includes folder on
my server. **I did not re-copy the folder itself, just all the contents.** That
may or may not be important. Anyway, once I did that, the AJAX in the dashboard
seems to be working fine. My widgets on my Pages are still screwed up, but I’ll
try banging up against that issue again.

 * I’ve also just logged in to my old wordpress.com site to see if it was my browser,
and it’s not. In my wordpress.com dashboard, all the AJAX stuff works just fine.
So that helps to narrow it down, I would suspect.
 * I’m going to stop replying to myself and hope someone else replies to me now.
   Thanks again.

 * Did you ever get this fixed? I just updated to 2.7.1 and the same thing happened
   to me.

 * Sorry about the double post. I’m not sure how that happened. Mods, please feel
free to delete the other one. I can’t seem to find a way to do it myself.

 * I’m at work, so I downloaded WP and just transferred the /images folder to the
proper spot on my FTP and it works now. I’ll have to check at home (where I originally
installed it from) and see what’s weird there.
 * I only asked here to see if anybody else had the same issue in the past. I thought
maybe I had done something wrong and it was a common mistake.

 * I’m not trying to sound like a jerk, but why is the wordpress.org login (useable
for the forum and the plugins section) a different login than the Codex? Is it
because of the subdomain or something?
