After the limit exceeds, then the front end of the site sends a request to the backend of your site to add that IP as a banned IP for how much time mentioned in the settings area of the plugin. * > So, if the user does not have a cookie in their browser, their ip based click count is not actually counted? It does not check against the IP and how many times they’ve clicked (only through cookie?) * If I had a clickbot that was aimed to saboutage my site (competitor), that cleared cookies, I’d say this plugin needs an improvement. The IP service, needs to save it in a log, along with their clicks (against IP, not cookie).
