    Hi @kenlyle,

    what did your developer say? Is he willing to share the code for the fix on the WooCommerce pages? That would be great!

    Hi,

    if I set it from true to false

    ‘with_front’ => false,

    I get the desired url strukture which not includes anymore my blog permalink structure. So I get

    .de/brand/brand-name/

    instead of

    .de/latest/news-blog/brand/brand-name/

    But the template doesn´t load at “.de/brand/brand-name/” and I get a 404 page. Can u explain why this plugin needs the permalink structure of the blog page. This seems so unnecessary.

    In my settings I have set for blog permalink individual strukture which I need

    “…/latest/news-blog/%category%/%postname%/”

    So the plugin uses for displaying the archive page “/latest/news-blog/” and then after that the desired slug /brand/ which u can set in the settings.

    Come on mate, would be good if we can get rid of the blog permalink strukture and show the archive page on desired url like .de/brand/brand-name.

    I need the individuela permalink strukture. If I delete it the brand archive page is shown at .de/brand/brand-name/ but as I said I need the blog permalink strukture.

    Would really appreciate a solution here!

    Thanks

    But perhaps Really Simple CAPTCHA ist still better then nothing. Googles reCAPTCHA seems to store a lot of data that is not allowed in EU without consent. And if you would have to block it until the user “allows” it through cookie consent tool, then bots would still have free way, which is pretty stupid regulation here. Then it doesn´t really make sense to use it.

    What I found is that reCAPTCHA could store data like:

    • Page that integrates reCAPTCHA
    • Referrer URL (page from which the user comes)
    • IP address of the user
    • Device settings (language, browser, location)
    • Length of stay
    • Mouse movements and keyboard strokes
    • Screen and window resolution
    • Time zone and Installation of browser plugins

    There are some articles here in Germany which say it is a “grey zone” of using it and if someone wants to piss you off, that person could start legal action if no cookie consent option is given, so this makes the solution either useless as it gets blocked till consent is given or you have it all the time activated and someone could start legal action because no consent was given.

    So I prefer your less “safe” option. Perhaps you will keep this updated with your own CAPTCHA. I would be thankful.

    Thank you and keep up your good work! 🙂

    Hi @takayukister,

    thx for your clarification. Then it´s good to go. It´s important that no data is flowing out of our websites from the users that use the form. Like tracking behavior or other data that needs a consent in EU through cookie banners, etc.

    That´s why your plugin “Really Simple CAPTCHA” is a very good alternative to Google or Akismet solutions. They track and store data of visitors as I know. Perhaps they are better for fighting bots / spam mails, but still.

    I really recommend you to put your plugin in the admin bar of WordPress under “integrations” where the other addons for CF7 sit. Because I didn´t know this existed and it´s missing there. People would find it faster!?

    It would give specially people from EU a better workaround to avoid legal conflicts with Google or Akismet. You wouldn´t have to “advertise” it as “GDPR friendly” but say that it´s not storing data etc. People would understand and I think u can boost the usage of your plugin a bit. 🙂

    Would be cool for easy integration!

    Thanks for your work and passion! Will donate u something this year as I really like your plugins!

    Hi @benjcampbell,

    wow, pretty cool! 🙂 Thanks a lot for sharing your work here. This is perfect!

    Now I can finally leave some accordions closed on mobile where there is limited space and opened on desktop where place is not such a problem!

    Perfect for responsible designs. Hope Elementor sees the necessity for this feature as it gives more precise handling of layouts.

    Cheers and regards! 😉

    Hi @skalanter,

    thx for your reply. Everything works fine and I could perfectly set the blog page as child page in the page settings and it already works. I will leave my structure as it is because everything works fine, except the breadcrumps.

    I will write a function where I set my own individual link “Aktuelles” before the last breadcrump in this case, so it matches the correct hierarchy of the blog page.

    Thx and regards

    Hi,

    it is as I thought. The plugin developers can´t really do anything about the OceanWP toolbar. They confirm the same method as I mentioned that the elements of the toolbar of OceanWP are not Ajax ready and therefore the functions don´t get rerun after Ajax loading.

    https://filtereverything.pro/resources/ajax-related-problems//

    Is there a possibility that you can forward this to the developers? I think adding this functionality would be nice, it would secure that loading the product archive page via Ajax the functions would be still usable. And I think for example lot of filter plugins work with Ajax. Would be sad to loose the functionalities just because of that simple fix…

    Thanks and regards

    Hi Pepe,

    thanks for your reply. Ok, I will ask them. I also created a product manually and directly in woo and attached the pics. Here it works normally and pics are attached in media library also.

    So it really seems there is a problem while uploading via cloudstock. My understanding here is not good enough to know why the pics are attached correctly to the products but not shown then in media library when filtered. But perhaps we will find out.

    One more question… How did you get this “dark mode” on WordPress running? 🙂

    Thanks and regards

    Hi RazyRx,

    really thanks for your reply, but it points really in no direction how to solve this. Is there no way of avoiding that the plugin uses the blog post permalinkstructure.

    Can it perhaps use somehow the permalinkstructure of products (woocommerce) instead or a way of setting your own like “.de/my-wish-url/brands/brand-name” or just display it after main url “.de/brands/brands-name/”.

    If I delete the custom url permalink structure for blog I can get it to desired url but I need the structure for the blog. It´s really a conflict in my case. 🙁

    Thanks and regards!

    Hi Shahin,

    thanks for your reply. The site is under development that´s why I sent u subscriber login of a test account via your support mail as I always did for live testing so I don´t have to set the site live for everyone.

    I will also ask the plugin developer but I´m not quite sure what they can do about it. The whole product archive page toolbar of OceanWP is not AJAX compatible as it seems.

    I don´t really know why the plugin author would be responsible for achieving this but I will try. But perhaps it would be better OceanWP would just make it compatible / rerun the functions after AJAX loading, so that it always would be compatible with functions / plugins who load product archive pages via AJAX.

    If not the extra toolbar options of OceanWP will not be compatible with any AJAX loading of the #primary container which kind of dooms the extra functions for list / grid view, etc., to obsolete.

    Thanks and regards

    Hi Shahin,

    I sent subscriber login to email support@oceanwp.org

    With that credentials you can test yourself.

    1. Just go in a product cat page (use the main menu)
    2. Use the filter on left side
    3. Click “Filtern” (Apply) to run the filtering
    4. After successful filtering try to use the “grid” or “list” button” in the toolbar above the product cards
    5. See that it doesnt word anymore
    6. After refreshing site the functions will come back

    As I mentioned the functions get only stripped after AJAX success. Same goes with the select box next to the buttons for sorting the products.

    Would be good if the scripts would be rerun after ajax success for example with:

    jQuery(document).ajaxSuccess(function() {
                    //...
                });

    Thanks for your reply!

    Hi,

    I´m not the developer, but just go in WP Permalink settings, there u will find a new input field only for the brands slug… Insert your desired slug there. It should output the url then.

    (@artankrasniqi1988)

    Hi,

    I found this code in main.php in the plugin folder. I changed the value in line 358:

    'with_front' => true,

    from “true” to “false” which removed the individual permalink structure that I have in WordPress settings: “/aktuelles/news-blog/%category%/%postname%/”.

    Now “/aktuelles/news-blog/” is gone in front of my url which is only now “/brands/brand-name/”. But the problem now is that a 404 Page is thrown out at this url and not the product archive site with the brand products.

    I couldn´t find a solution yet to show the product archive page for the brands at that url.

    Any help?

    I think it would be nice to give an easy option to set the desired url easily. Well u can insert in the input of the permalink options the url for the brands archive pages but there is no option to exclude the main permalink structure of wordpress. I really don´t want my blog archive permalinkstructure to be the main root url for the brands archive pages…. I think everybody can agree that this seems bit logical incorrect.

    Help is appreciated.

    Thanks and regards!
