 * Well, after careful consideration I downloaded the plug in mentioned above WP
   SMT and so far so good.

 * Hi,
 * I don’t want to barge in but it seems I have the same problem: after registration
   user does not receive email with activation key. (tested on 3 email accounts:
   msn, google and private domain)
 * If account created by Admin then I get a notification: new user created. I also
   receive all other emails from the site.
 * plugins used on the site are:
 * BuddyPress
    Contact Form Manager Jetpack by WordPress.com User Submitted Posts
   WP-Polls
 * If anybody can help that would be great.
