 * One more issue that I found out about was.
    When this plugin is enabled, **insert
   more tag** automatically hides when you switch between Visual and Text tabs. 
   Tag **<!–more–>** is intact when you check the Text tab, but its hidden in the
   Visual tab. After disabling the plugin it is visible.

 * And you have both the above mentioned plugins enabled ?
    And whats your setting
   for Configure New Line Behavior Per Post Type under Settings > Writing

 * Hi Yammy,
 * I am using Preserved HTML Editor Marup as well as PS Disable Auto Formatting 
   plugin in my site.
    The code to remove_filter that you have mentioned has to 
   be there in function.php or not ?
