How well they do that is to be determined, but we plan to create some form spam protections in the future. The only time that we have seen errors is when the publication ID and API key are incorrect. We recommend taking a look at those first to make sure everything is accurate on the backend of your site so that the subscribers list syncs up with your Beehiiv account. There isn’t anything that can be done in the plugin to send subscribers welcome emails, but this setting can be enabled in the Beehiiv admin page.
