I wasn’t able to replicate this behavior either, either with Storefront or Twenty Twenty as the theme. Can you post the system status report for the “reset” site? That might shed some light as to what is going on. So you’d like to sort products alphabetically, but going by the third letter of the product name instead of the first one. This would not be possible using default functionality. What if you tried editing the CSV through some other means, such as Google Sheets? That seemed to work for me. The steps I took were: * 1. Import the original CSV into Google Sheets. * 2. Export it from Google Sheets as a CSV. * 3. Import the resulting CSV from step to into my local test site. * When I tried to upload the weight-modified CSV you provided, it told me that it couldn’t upload it. The error it gave was: * ``` The file is empty or using a different encoding than UTF-8, please try again with a new file. ``` * This makes me think it was something in MS Excel that did this. In my opinion, doing the separate products “feels” more natural, but that is very subjective. * There are a couple of advantages to doing the stand-alone products, though: * 1. It would be slightly easier to create a custom page with all the products for a given design if the products are separate products rather than variations. * 2. Either option would work. That warning shouldn’t be causing this issue. What you’re describing sounds like it’s due to caching. Do you have any caching on your site? If so, you will need to disable it on the cart and checkout pages.
