 * Thanks for your help and sorry I might come across as a bit naive but this is
   all new to me.

 * I do all the posts and can create pages etc. I can edit the comments posted on
   the website so thought I must have access to edit all areas.
    A simple way out
   is for me to edit the page and copy and paste the 2012 fixtures to somewhere 
   safe for now until I can sort out the problem.

 * the theme being used is unite with 2 widgets 3.4.2

 * when I clicked the link it said ” You do not have sufficient permissions to access
   this page.”
    It says there are 7 users & moderation which would mean I am one
   of those if that helps

 * In the top left I have the “Dashboard” is this the menu? I cant find any appearance
   tab
