 * Anyways here goes: I will start with my url: [asimplepast.com](http://asimplepast.com)
   What you see are the blog archives, the meta, admin link, etc. It looks like 
   a blog page. What I want to do is not have that blog info/archives etc visible
   to visitors when they first see the site, but to have it look like a typical 
   webpage.
 * I already attempted to add the absolute privacy plugin, thinking that may do 
   the trick. I found out about the plugin through a previous post on here from 
   a member who was having very similar issues to mine. She was consulted to try
   the plugin so I thought it would not hurt to try it too.
 * I emailed recently too by the way, asking about the same problem, but the advice
   did not appear to help, I can email you the copy of the message if you like…
 * Anyways, with the plug in, I went to settings and then went to absolute privacy.
   the plugin looks activated, but when I log off then back on again, the webpage
   still appears the same.
