 * And other comment, if you don’t mind. I’ve noticed a missing feature in the latest
version: the option to show pre/next controls (arrows) only when mouse hover.
That’s not a critical issue, but it’s a feature that was present in older versions
and would be an interesting addition in future versions.
 * Best regards.

 * Hi. Based on the tests I’ve performed, there seems to be four of my plugins somehow
related to this issue. These plugins are: “Advanced post slider”, “Clean and
Simple Contact Form”, “Email Subscribers” and “Smooth Slider”. When all of them
are activated, can’t access the plugin editor from WP desktop (plugin-editor.
php). When I disable any of them (I mean, one disabled, the other three activated),
   the page works again.
 * For now, I’ll let the “Smooth Slider” plugin disabled. After all, I’m testing
advps for my homepage and it looks good right now, but it’s an annoying issue
   thinking in future installations.

 * Thanks, Digonto. The code works great and fixed my issue for the moment, although
it would be nice seeing this option added in settings menu to avoid edit the
css files and lose the changes after any update. Anyway, thank you very much
   for the solution.
 * About Offset, it’s a bit confusing to me having another option to “Exclude” posts.
 * And only as an information note, there seems to be some conflict with another
plugin I had previously installed (advps is the latest I’ve installed), because
when advps plugin is activated, I can’t access the “plugin editor” page (plugin-
editor.php) from my WP desktop. I mean that the page don’t show any of my plugins,
not only advps, so I can’t edit anything (I had to gain access via FTP). But
when I deactivate advps, everything works again. Of course, I know that’s not
a fault of advps, but a common issue with plugins. I’ll try deactivating other
   plugins and see what happens.
 * Best regards.

 * I really don’t know how to clean those “cxifent” files or entries from the database.
Maybe one have to edit the php files. But also for me, re-installing the old
version brought back my old settings, so version 2.0 doesn’t seems to overwrite
   the settings.
 * I too think version 1.2.1 was more comprehensive.

 * [@chesster](https://wordpress.org/support/users/chesster/): Thanks for the link.
I was trying to upload it at this moment.

 * I suppose that’s the reason why version 2.0 wasn’t saving my new settings. I
think this should be advised. Even better, an option to export settings would
   be nice.

 * Same problems here. Version 1.2.1 was fine, a really nice slider, but new version
is apparently broken. I’ve installed the old version until the author shows up.
I hope the plugin gets fixed, because is the best slider I’ve tried, and I’ve
   tried a few.
 * By the way, new version lose current settings, lacks certain options (e.g. select
post by category, padding from up-right-down-left borders), there are few descriptions,
and lose all new settings even when clicking “Save” buttons.
 * PS: Right now I’m copying my settings to a paper so I don’t lose it again…
