In reply to: [Filter & Grids] Update broke filtersThanks for your help here – it’s working again now. I was surprised to see that my working filters had stopped working today, and I wonder how many other people will need to modify their functions.php to accommodate this new change? (Is it likely to change again in future?)
Either way, I’m happy it’s working but just a little worried it will break again after a future update.
Kind regards,
Anthony

In reply to: [Filter & Grids] Custom Post CardsSussed it! This one can be closed.. I was trying to use the full ID of the container but just realised I only need to add the numeric part:
ymc-smart-filter-container-6 would result in my just adding 6 to the param:
add_filter('ymc_post_custom_layout_6', 'my_custom_post_layout', 10, 3);

In reply to: [Filter & Grids] Date FilteringThanks for your reply, good to know.
No I’m afraid I haven’t – the JWT auth work I was doing has stalled now.
Maybe one day someone will come up with a solution!

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Admin toolbar when viewing pages not visibleHI,
I am having the same problem – when I view the frontend (directly from the backend) the toolbar disappears. My user normally shows it. If I then refresh the page again, the toolbar comes back (usually).It’s a little bit annoying for our other website [non-admin] users as they are reporting “not logged in” errors, when they actually are.
Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Anthony

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Access-control-allow-origin header contains multiple valuesThat’s my point! The fonts are in the rejected files list, as well as being removed from the included theme files list but they are still being uploaded to the CDN.
andI’m not saying this *IS* a bug with W3TC but I can’t really say it’s *not* either. Are there any other circumstances where this can happen?
Many thanks,
Anthony

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Access-control-allow-origin header contains multiple valuesIs there any update on this one? If I can get W3TC to honour the list of file extensions in the “Theme File Types” field then that would suffice.
The font files are always uploaded to the CDN irrespective of the file extensions entered into the field. Is this a bug?

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3TC inserts line break into the pagesQuick one – does W3TC change the order of any of the filters? (Thinking wpautop here specifically)
Many thanks,
Anthony

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3TC inserts line break into the pagesHi Marko,
Thanks for getting back to me. In the W3TC settings I have minify disabled and the spurious line breaks are still appearing. I’m stumped!
I guess I should look elsewhere for the cause – if W3TC minify is disabled then this shouldn’t be an issue should it? Saying that, the only changes to the website lately were to enable W3TC!
Many thanks,
Anthony
Same here – I performed the update to CAS and now it’s showing the error:-
<b>Warning</b>: Declaration of CASConditionPlaceholder::filter_excluded_context($posts) should be compatible with WPCAModule_Base::filter_excluded_context($posts, $in_context = false) in <b>/home/xxxxxxxxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/content-aware-sidebars/conditions/placeholder.php</b> on line <b>126</b><br>

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Access-control-allow-origin header contains multiple valuesIt’s already disabled, thank you π
I just did a curl -iSs on the same font file from the CDN and also from the normal domain and both are returning CORS headers so it’s no surprise the fonts won’t load. THe only problem is that I don’t have access to the Nginx config on Cloudways and also the CDN. I guess it’s up to them to fix this one.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Access-control-allow-origin header contains multiple valuesThanks for your reply. As a Cloudways user I don’t have access to the Nginx config to check that, so I have raised a support ticket with them. Their CDN sets the CORS header already, but there doesn’t appear to be a way for me to unset it at my end.

In reply to: [Breeze - WordPress Cache Plugin] Breeze .htaccess code breaks siteI am experiencing a similar issue, made far worse by the fact that my .htaccess file now has *duplicated* sections, whole chunks of duplicated code that I suspect was duplicated by Breeze itself. We already had gzip enabled, far-future expiry, mime types all configured and Breeze has gone and put the definitions in again. Doesn’t it even bother to check the contents of htaccess first??
My confidence in Breeze now (and Cloudways, who seem unable to fix this problem) is at rock-bottom. The only solution is to deactivate and delete Breeze and consequently take ourselves off the Cloudways CDN, which is a major problem for us, but we are stuck if we keep Breeze running because we know it will break the site again. Even just disabling the Breeze plugin, it still creates files in the cache directory!! It has to be deleted altogether.
