 * I’m having a very similar problem. I can’t update any options. When I change 
   an option and hit “update options”, I don’t get any confirmation, it just brings
   me back to the dashboard. When I check, the option hasn’t been changed. Please
   help! Thanks

 * Never mind…the wp-config.php file was misnamed after all! Had an extra – . Now
   it seems to work. Thank you for the help!

 * My wp-config-sample.php has been properly renamed, but still the same error. 
   Any other ideas that may help me out? Thanks

 * I am having the same problem as CarolVentura….same fatal error. I’ve reuploaded
   all my wordpress files numerous times, but still the same error. Any help would
   be greatly appreciated! Thanks
