 * The affected websites have built-in automatic updates enabled.
 * If another gets affected, I will try to log more detail for you, I was just hoping
   to know the root cause, but I guess this is unknown still.

 * I don’t use CLI, all affected sites are WordPress sites with automatic updates
   on, so I don’t know what version they went from or to, sorry.
 * There are multiple support threads on this topic, is the root cause known yet?

 * [@litetim](https://wordpress.org/support/users/litetim/) yes or just leaving 
   the plugin deleted. I’ve got 300+ websites with this installed though so would
   like to know what the cause is as I’ve checked all so far and fixed the ones 
   with the issue, but don’t want it happening to more?
