 * Hi there,
 * Wondering if there is a work-around to get Scott’s Javascript suggestion working
   when the pages are differently named?
 * For example, the script works when I redirect my old site’s homepage plus.timeraiser.
   ca to my new site’s homepage at weareframework.org. But when I try to redirect
   a subpage, i.e. [http://plus.timeraiser.ca/website-audits.html ](http://plus.timeraiser.ca/website-audits.html)
   to [http://weareframework.org/techraiser/our-work/website-audits/](http://weareframework.org/techraiser/our-work/website-audits/),
   it returns a 404 error at [http://weareframework.org/techraiser/our-work/website-audits/website-audits.html](http://weareframework.org/techraiser/our-work/website-audits/website-audits.html)
 * Can the script be modified so that the old page name is not appended to the new
   one?
 * I plan to do a 301 redirect at the server level (since the domain is not registered
   through Weebly) at a later date, but wanted to ensure that people can find the
   relevant sub-pages until then. Any advice or suggestions on how to best manage
   this redirect is greatly appreciated.

 * I found that this solution worked for me: [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/unable-to-create-directory-wp-contentuploads201408-is-its-parent-directory-w-1](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/unable-to-create-directory-wp-contentuploads201408-is-its-parent-directory-w-1)
 * Good luck!

 * I’m having the same issue (same error message), but unfortunately the steps in
   the Codex to change the permissions in the /wp-content folder don’t seem to work
   for me. I use an FTP site (Filezilla) to administer the website since there are
   some issues with the Dashboard in this installation, but when I change the permissions
   to 666 – as suggested – I still get the same error message. Is there a different
   numeric code I should try? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

 * WordPress was installed by an IT admin at the organization that hosts the server,
   so I’m not sure what URL was used. Can I check for this information somewhere?
 * (Other than with the IT person, who I’m sure knows but is reluctant to have anymore
   to do with the site.)
 * WordPress installed on the same server as the old website, but in a different
   directory.
