 * I appreciate your support and realise it’s probably frustrating for you too!
 * I tried the default wordpress twenty sixteen theme with the same result unfortunately.
 * Regarding the web dev console there are no errors in the console, in the network
   tab a few images aren’t loading correctly but apart from that nothing.
 * Would you like to log in to take a look yourself? Is there some way I can email
   you the credentials?

   the response. Odd because when I try the same functionality (Add a Cetegory for
   example) for Posts or even Downloads (in Easy Digital Downloads) it works no 
   problem and I don’t see any update to the url and see in the Web Deve console
   that a ajax called is made. Whereas in the Custom Post Type with the Custom Taxonomies
   the url is changed and there is no ajax call made. Any other ideas?
