at the moment I have focused on getting a working option rather then precisely in the box result, I don’t want to ruin my website while trying to get this done.
While trying to make video, I have found out what happens. I Did not realise changing block space changes block space in my entire website. I was using it to make my text sit on top and my image on the bottom.
Can’t do that I suppose then, but stilltrying to figure out what I can do!

advise how to get second image or cover to sit on bottom (or at least more or less!) welcome (didn’t try everything in the video)

sadly I still get problems while trying to do something to get it right, and then boom layout explodes, and I can start from 0
trying to make new footer with tips used still cause big failure of the global layout. Can’t use the available layout buttons in the interface without problems.
What I did is more or elss what I did before but without using colums.
- create cover block
- set background (curtains 360 pix high)
- add image (centered, cover)
- add text (corner right above)
- didn’t add social media links yet
basically I am trying to get bot the text and the image right and that is always when the layout says boom. Don’t know how to get the image rightly positioned, and sized and the layout always says boom. Don’t know how to make image work as a cover either.

getting the editing right so it sits at the bottom,
without destroying my header as well.
also found https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_dimension.asp to learn css better but not quite there yet.

Asking this because while editing the footer, I now have a new problem that the width of my entire website changes. I don’t know how to revert this change. It becomes much wider and I want to go back to standard setting, while my footer image is sing max availble width
Can anyone help me with this weird problem?

but in the mean time, I managed to destroy my website settings while editing the footer. I don’t know how I could change my page width, and my header was also changed while editing the footer (how). Got so pissed off I deleted my footer.
How do I get default settings back for the entire page?
PS it looks this bad, I went back to a backup on the host rather then fixing this.
thanks @jordesign for now I solved it by having 8 columns and only using 5,
using 6 collumns makes the images a bit big , and I don’t know how to get 7 equal collumns with this system ;D but I have it sorted as a pattern and can go abck there straight away

I am new with wordpress so had not realised yet you can make columns inside columns to make more columns. how smart.
I have one problem left though and that is the margins at the edge of the page if I do a page wide collumn page. I still want some margins at the edges. I don’t know how to create them properly.

nice idea but my gallery is currently captioned, and I want place for something more like a caption, a short about story with a link to amazon if possible
So as you can see on bottom of my website,
I managed to add a gallery.
I still want more, smaller pictures there,
My problem is I don’t manage to put text below the pictures for info.

I tried also witha just a table but the images didn’t do what I wanted there so it is a no go.

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-Three] Featured image also shown on pageWell actually, I had dinner and then tried again and now I only see the bigger image in the blog post link, not on the website.
I didn’t do anything in particular.
Ok I just rebuild the website but that deleted half website was a shock.
I still have issues with the blog featured image.
For some resaon I get a giant size picture on my home page when I add a new featured picture to a new post. ANd I have tried several different pictures with the same result.

and now my headshot is cut by the headers strange white banner above the background.
I would rather fix the white then the picture
But may have to go back to no code
