 * I had this error just now so I Googled this thread but I tried again and **it
   worked**. It must be something with the web host’s side as well.
 * I’ve cloned a number of my sites and never seen this error before today.

 * Thanks for the suggestion, I hope it will help anyone else searching. I came 
   up with a different solution. I’m just using a subdomain for the form pages that
   I needed removed from the search.

 * Same problem. On web hosting hub too. Glad I found this thread.
 * Honestly I’ve just been having so much unnecessary problems with wordpress I 
   believe it’s just not worth updating anymore.

 * Issue solved; Just reporting back for the record.
 * > I renamed all plugin folders with a ‘1’ in front (to disable them).
 * > wp-admin page worked which isolated the problem to plugins.
 * > Then it was just process of elimination. The culprit was an old (paid) plugin
   called “Push Button SEO”. Post-panda, it no longer served any use anyway.

 * Now I remember doing that before, just didnt think to check that little menu (
   screen options) but I knew it was that spectacularly simple 🙂
