Issue was with finding the proper index.php and then editing the the directory structure.

There are a number of index.php files within the structure of my chosen theme.when exchanging, one gave a blank page, two others gave coded line errors.

I should also note that besides the lost links to the calendar, archies and post and pages, I cannot post new information to the site.
