 * Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. You are correct – that’s what I 
   was looking for – I should have worked from a non-responsive theme. As it happens
   the people I’m doing this for are happy with the way it’s displaying on mobile
   devices, so I’ll just delay looking for a different theme for the time being.
