 * It seems that the error is mine (Or of my WordPress installation -which in any
   way is my mistake-)
 * Since I had not entered any post (I had only pages), I did not realize that it
   was not possible to assign categories to the posts.
 * I’ll do what you suggest me: Uninstall the wordpress and start over.
 * I will try again using the Vantage theme and your Meta Slider plugin, because
   I really think it’s great 🙂 but I promise to you that I will check first if 
   I can enter the posts to categories.
 * Thank you very much indeed for your help and I will comment what happens when
   I finish reinstalling all and try everything again.
 * And of course, I offer (please accept) my apologies because I really did not 
   realize of this error.

 * I I have exactly the same problem as described here.
 * I disabled all the plugins and still not save images in the slider
 * The site is new as wp, I’m testing the Vantage theme. Obviously the slider is
   new too.
 * I erased all images of the slider and I got back up them under another name. 
   neither works
 * thank you in advance for your help.
