In reply to: Zerif: Problems with mobile layoutWell the background image is inheiret to to Zerif, so the plug in dosent work unfortunately – thanks for the advice though!
I have read that I should change the size of the image – I think Ill try that. That dosent change the problem with the rest of the mobile layout – its too narrow so to say. Can anybody help me.

In reply to: Eternal error 500I solved the whole thing – not quite sure how though – however this is what I did:
– I deleted the entire content of database and live server.
– I then reuploaded all.
– Apperently you have to add http:// in front of the home and site url in the database.
– I then cleared my catche and bang the whole lot was working.Forum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: Eternal error 500Yes – I have followed every step – it really stumped me as I have reuploaded all the data again, and the error still consists.
Can you check it out – I have two websites. At the moment its only http://www.videnscenter.etikos.dk that is up and running?

In reply to: WordPress dashboard is wierd!all right guys – I have been updating left and right. Ive even downloaded the wp installation and reuploaded it – the dashboard is still wierd – its all white/grey with a long list of links to the posts and so on – but no css as far as I can tell.

Is there anyway to change to localhost links with a sql command? Ive tried to command suggested in the wp-beginner guide, but apperantly its not all working.

Yes – the website is showing correctly, though I havent changed the permalinks(at the moment its down do to something shifting up), the main problem arises with the wp dashboard (which I btw cannot log in to from safari, but only from firefox) – can you provide any help? I would be most gratefull.

In reply to: Category blog pageI have made some progress. Apperently its because of the picture which the whole thing tries to align around. I can change this, however, when changing this, I also change the entry content for the actual post. Is there a way to change the entry-content for the specific category page ?

As you can see the problem is that the text align to the left, while the title centers.
I think it has something to do with the picture, but Cant for the life of me figure out, why the category page dosent takes this into account.

To anyone having same problem: I think something was interfering with the database, as a clean install dident work. I ended up switching computer, importing the database, and installing the old version of WP.

I actually had a lot of problems with the plug ins and theme when I updated. When I went back to the previously version of WordPress I couldent access my database, so I ended up during a fresh install on another mac, importing databases and a copy of the mamp folder, and then it worked like before.

In reply to: White screen wordpress fatal errorWell there are ways around it. Basically what happens is that your wordpress update dident go all the way, and some files are left incomplete. You can either manually update wordpress, or you can resort to a backup.

Hi again,
Im not sure if any of that help my problems sadly. Here is what I did. I work locally with mamp on a mac.
When I launch the servers, mamp opens it webpage where I can access phpmyadmin from – no matter if I use the pro version or the free version. This is were my databases are, and it have allways been accesible.
I took an older mamp folder (about one week) and pasted it in, in the “new” ones place, which replaced the whole lot. This reverted the version to 4.4.2 and gave me back all the work (ive lost the week, since i took the backup, but whatever). However, I cant access myphpadmin, because of the error message. I need to change the permission of the file obviously, but I cant figure out how.
Can you help me pleasE?
