 * Don’t know whether this thread is now defunct but I too am experiencing similar
   problems. Hope you’ll all excuse me as I’m pretty green. When in Visual editing
   mode top lines of text just disappear behind the editor buttons and even with
   the scroll bar available it’s not possible to scroll the text down to view or
   edit. By selecting the text editing tab I can get at it then which is fine in
   it’s own way if you feel comfortable working in that mode. I suspect it must 
   be a bug but just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. It appears I’m running
   WP ver 4.2.4
