I checked: the wp-uploads directory exists. I use HTML upload option. After I try to upload a file, it shows a message: ‘temporary directory doesn’t exist’. Which directory? How do I check if the directory is writeable? Sorry for this type of questions but I can’t go any further with my site without figuring it out.

In reply to: theme uploading problemActually now it turns out I can’t upload any data. I just tried with a photo and it said ‘temporary file doesn’t exist’ (I use a translated version of WP, so it’s a retranslation). I can’t figure out what’s going on. I never had such a problem with my another account before.

Great, I removed index.html file and the browser displays my site now. I can’t help the panel getting redirected, though. Fortunately it happens only on the main panel page. I noticed that if I click anything quick enough, it openes what I want and stays still. I know it sounds funny, but solves the problem to some point:) At least I can operate now. I’ll try to contact my server admin as soon as possible.

Thanks for your advice. Just did so but it stays the same. And when I try to open the actual site it says ‘site under construction’. Shouldn’t it show a default wordpress site with ‘Hello World’ post instead?
I’m blond but I try hard:)
