What w= h= parameters are being used for the display, could it be something with that? Can you use Firebug or ViewSource to see the code used at that point and see if that helps? I’m a newbie signed up for PHP programming in the Fall so sorry cannot share anymore knowledge. I find it frustrating that the forum is not more helpful and that people don’t post resolutions to problems. Then activating just NG Gallery and SW Rotator to see if some other plugin is interfering with your set-up. Also just use Nextgen with vanilla settings. What browser are you using? The default header size was 990×257 set in the functions. php for the Pilcrow theme. I changed this to 990×150 (had to replace functions. php in the pilcrow theme since WP now picks this up for the Theme/Header default size(I think) rather than having a functions.php in my pilcrow-child theme.) I’m using I’m using Firefox 3.6.18, WordPress 3.2.1, Theme Pilcrow. My theme has the line of code add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’). Further down in the function code it has the comment: /* We’ll be using post thumbnails for custom header images on posts and pages. // We want them to be 940 pixels wide by 198 pixels tall. // Larger images will be auto-cropped to fit, smaller ones will be ignored. See header.php. */ * My featured image is the correct size so why does it not display on the page? I checked and there are no thumbs in the folder. These photos are big over 3000 by over 2000. What is the ideal usable size for photos using NextGen? Do you know of any good documentation that explains the best settings for maximum ease of use. Any help is much appreciated as I’m wasting a lot of time fiddling around.
